Eban And Charley

Ebani isa olles teadlik poja kalduvustest, keelab vangla ähvardusel Ebanil Charleyga suhtlemise.

Mis edasi saab tuleb juba teil ise kaeda.

Lubada võin et pettuda ei tule.

Film ise on kuidagi mitte ameerikalik. Kuna teema arendus on kuidagi aeglane ja loid.

Kuid samas lugu kui selline on kütkestav kokkuvõttes.

The Matthew Shepard Story (2002)

On aasta 1998.

Twist (2004)

Eating Out 1 2004

After getting dumped by his girlfriend Tiffani (Rebekah Kochan), Caleb (Scott Lunsford) commiserates with his roommate Kyle (Jim Verraros), who notes that while he has trouble getting the men he wants he could get any woman because he's gay.
Later at a party, Gwen (Emily Stiles) dumps her boyfriend after he comes out to her. Caleb sees her and becomes infatuated and meets Marc (Ryan Carnes), who Kyle is infatuated with. Marc, meanwhile, sees Caleb and is instantly attracted. Kyle comes up with a crazy scheme. He tells Gwen that Caleb is gay so she'll set him up with Marc. Kyle figures that Caleb can use Marc to get to Gwen, while Kyle uses Caleb to get to Marc. Also, Tiffani lives next door to Gwen and Marc so seeing Caleb date Marc would make her crazy.
Caleb and Marc go out on a date then go back to Marc's place to watch a movie. Marc tries to put the moves on Caleb, who's unresponsive. Suddenly Gwen, who's stuck at a friend's house and bored, calls. She talks to Caleb, relaxing and seducing him verbally while Marc takes advantage by giving him a blow job. Gwen hangs up to come home and Marc jerks off next to Caleb. Caleb, feeling confused and insecure, leaves. He passes Gwen on her way home and she seduces him again, this time physically. Caleb goes home and goes to bed.
The next morning Marc calls Caleb and leaves a message. Kyle overhears it and realizes that Marc and Caleb had sex. As Kyle storms into his room, Marc calls back. After the call Caleb goes to Kyle and tells him he's invited Gwen and Marc to dinner to clear everything up. Caleb also tells Kyle that he knows Kyle has feelings for him and that, if Caleb were at all gay, he'd love Kyle.
Gwen and Marc come over for dinner and Caleb is chagrined to see that Kyle's invited Caleb's family as well. Kyle convinces Gwen to "pretend" to be Caleb's date and Marc to "pretend" to be his. Dinner is going well, if a little awkwardly, until Tiffani inexplicably crashes the party. Gwen takes upon herself to out Caleb to his parents. His parents take it quite well and everyone ends up in a bizarre group hug.
After Caleb's family and Tiffani leave, Gwen verbally attacks Kyle, thinking he's trying to steal Marc from Caleb. Caleb convinces Marc to talk to Kyle and Gwen figures out the entire scheme, which she thinks is the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for her in light of the lengths to which Caleb went to sleep with her. Marc goes to talk to Kyle and realizes that he's interested in Kyle after all.
In a post-credits scene, Marc and Kyle finally get together.

You I Love 2004

The adjectives which come to mind -- sweet, luscious, charming -- describe "You I Love," a fable about an unusual love triangle in ultra-modern Moscow. Handsome Timofei and beautiful Vera are young lovers, both successful professionals. He designs TV commercials ("Lyubov' -- eto Kola!"); she is a popular newscaster. Enter Ulumzhi, a sensual yet appealingly innocent Kalmyk newcomer, who takes a day job as a zookeeper. When Timofei accidently bumps into Ulumzhi (literally, with his car), he takes the injured homeless youth into his apartment. Arriving unexpectedly, Vera is stunned to discover Timofei and Ulumzhi have begun a passionate romance. At first hurt and angry, Vera cannot help befriending the extremely likable Asian boy. In fact, she cannot help her own physical attraction to the agreeable young man. Her dilemma: dump her boyfriend or share him with Ulumzhi? When Ulumzhi's uncle drags him back to his village, hoping to make a "real man" out of his disappointing "goluboi" nephew, Vera thinks she at last has Timofei to herself. But they both miss Ulumzhi more than they can bear. This movie had me laughing out loud in the theater. Particularly funny are the two cabbies' sly references to "you know who," a certain someone high up in the government purported to be secretly gay (hint: think "Goluboe Salo")! I thoroughly enjoyed the great scenes of the newly vibrant Moscow, as well as the sensuous (yet refreshingly "chaste") scenes on the Persian rugs! All three actors are simply, exquisitely, gorgeous! The term "eye-candy" could have been coined for this trio! Overall, a delightful film, in Russian with English subtitles.

Borstal Boy

Brendan Behan, a sixteen year-old republican, is going on a bombing mission from Ireland to Liverpool during the second world war. His mission is thwarted when he is apprehended, charged and imprisoned in Borstal, a reform institution for young offenders in East Anglia, England. At Borstal, Brendan is forced to live face-to-face with those he perceived as "the enemy," a confrontation that reveals a deep inner conflict in the young Brendan and forces a self-examination that is both traumatic and revealing. Events take an unexpected turn and Brendan is thrown into a complete spin. In the emotional vortex, he finally faces up to the truth.

Beautiful Thing 1996

This urban fairytale and a story of sexual awakening is set in the close-knit, working class community of the Thamesmead Estate, where there are no secrets and no opportunities for privacy, and where the next door neighbor is likely to be a cheeky young woman who loudly plays albums by the Mamas and the Papas while growing increasingly obsessed with Mama Cass. Here the focus is on Sandra and her teenage son, Jamie. Sandra works as manager of a local pub, hoping to one day own a place of her own. Jamie, in the meantime, is the kind of student who hates athletics and is victimized by his peers. Jamie's neighbor at Thamesmead, Ste, is a popular jock at the school, but Ste has his own problems at home. One night, Ste seeks refuge at Jamie's flat, where the two boys share a bed, and the foundation for first love is set.

Get Real

Steven is a gay 16-year-old in a middle class English suburb. Only his best friend Linda knows about his sexuality, but he is moving towards coming out to his parents and perhaps at school. His big problem, though, is that he fancies the school jock John, a rich hunk who seems out of his league in more ways than one. However, a chance encounter in a public toilet reveals that John, too, may be gay and the two of them must deal with this knowledge. What seems like a dream come true for Steven is a nightmare for John, and the stakes are raised when Steven submits an anonymous essay to the school magazine about being gay.

Latter Days

Latter Days

Christian, a hunky, 20-something, West Hollywood party boy gets more than he bargains for when he tries to seduce 19-year-old Elder Aaron Davis, a sexually confused Mormon missionary who moves into his apartment complex. When Christian exposes Davis' secret sexual desire, Davis' rejects Christian for being shallow and empty. The encounter shatters each boy's reality and draws the two into a passionate romance that risks destroying their lives.
